International hotspot in Hall 7

The Laroy Group and its German
subsidiary EBI had a 350 m²
stand in Hall 7, on which many
new products were displayed.
With a 22-person team for pro-
duct design and two European
production facilities for bird food
and food for small animals, the
company showed that it is an im-
portant supplier of food and non-
food products for a wide range of
pet categories. The new Explor Ul-
timate Fit dog harness was exhibi-
ted along with a large selection of
Schlumpf licensed products and a
new product wall measuring 4 x 3
metres with a host of new articles
for all pets.

New technology and digital
learning platform

With the three corner filters in the sera
X-Edge series and the sera XS-Feeder
automatic feeder, sera presented
some exciting new technical products
at this year’s Interzoo. An added ser-
vice highlight is the sera Academy, an
e-learning platform for retailers
wishing to expand their specialist and
product knowledge of aquariums, ter-
rariums and garden ponds. In coope-
ration with the VDA/DGHT the aca-
demy offers learning content for pre-
paring for the expert knowledge exa-
mination in accordance with §11 of
the German Protection of Animals Act
(TierSchG).
