Kiwoko proprietor acquires

Tiendanimal

Having already taken over the Kiwoko pet store chain last
year, the property company Emefin, which is controlled by the
Mulder family of Peru, has now also completed the acquisition
of the Spanish pet supplies retail chain Tiendanimal. Merging
the two chains would create a group with sales in excess of
New Hunter store in Ljubljana 250 mio euros, a network of around 190 stores, 90 veterinary

clinics and approximately 26 hospitals.
Marko Levstek has opened the first Hunter brand store in Slo-
venia. In the store, located in the Aleja shopping centre in Lju-
bljana, a large selection of the approximately 5 000 articles of
the assortment is offered on a retail area of 90 m². The Hunter
brand store in Slovenia is its 27th outlet worldwide.

Emefin Group takes
over Animalis

The Belgian trading group Louis Delhaize
(including Cora and Match) has sold the
French pet retail chain Animalis to the Pe-
ruvian Emefin investor group with effect Chewy to open another
from the beginning of 2021, reports the
